Symone Peat Jarret is a Jamaican-born international gospel music minister, songwriter, author, and humanitarian. She discovered her gift of singing during high school and began writing her own songs, drawing inspiration from her faith, family, and life experiences. Migrating to the United States at the age of 12, her musical journey blossomed in Mt. Vernon, New York, where she sang choruses at church and was nurtured by a rich musical background—her grandmother’s singing and the constant presence of music in the home.

Symone writes from the heart and spirit, crafting songs that reflect God’s hand in her life. Her ultimate desire is to reach the hearts of many through music that uplifts, encourages, and inspires. Recently nominated for the prestigious Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards 2025, she continues to spread a message of hope, love, and faith through dynamic performances and heartfelt lyrics.

Beyond music, Symone is the founder of the Peats Foundation, dedicated to uplifting lives through ministry and global outreach. Through the foundation, she provides essential medical supplies to underserved communities and partners with initiatives such as Play House Fest’s “Fuel My Dream” project, delivering free scholastic materials to children in Uganda’s Naguru Slum. Her humanitarian work reflects her deep commitment to service and purpose.

Her ministry has taken her across the globe, with recent tours in Uganda, Nigeria, United States and other parts of the world. She is the CEO of Sweet Symone’s Skincare, where she offers effective skincare products to give the desired glowing skin. Symone’s latest project, Diamond Church Girl, is a vibrant YouTube channel designed to teach children about God in fun, relatable ways. Symone’s work has been featured in several magazines in Africa.
